A very pretty Victorian balloon back bedroom chair with inlaid mother of pearl detailing and a canework seat.
It has gilt decoration around the inlay and also down the legs, over time some of this gilt work has worn away slightly, but still very pretty. It is finished in black lacquer.
Beautiful shape and nice and strong with no weakness, original seat still entirely intact.
Slight knock to one side ( has been photographed ) but does not detract from the overall beauty of the chair, historic scratches, knocks etc as is to be expected with furniture of the era, good solid condition though and overall good condition.
