We sourced this incredible mirror in our last trip over to France, it immediately jumped out as something just a little bit special.
The chunky thick rope effect and the oversized knots, to the top ends acting as very clever feet. We expected this to be made from plaster, but surprisingly it is cast aluminium painted with a white paint.
This mirror could either stand freely against a wall, or looks to have been hung previously via a hole made centrally to the top.
The paint has a patina gained with age, but it's in very good condition otherwise, with no foxing to the mirror.
This is a totally unique piece, we haven't found another like it.
