Artist Biography
After leaving school, Malcolm Rogers was apprenticed in London to a Commercial Art Studio, producing material for the Press, Magazines and Music Publishers.
During this period he studied part-time at the Clapham School of Art, and later at the Epsom School of Art and Design, successfully combining a business career with painting, until moving to Sussex in 1979, thereafter making this a full time pursuit.
He has received international art awards from France (Gold and Silver Medals, Paris Salon); Florida, U.S.A. (Miniature Art Society of Florida); London (‘Spirit of London Exhibition’ by the G.L.C.); and been ‘hung’ in the Royal Academy.
