An organic Brutalist style vase by ceramic artist Bernard Rooke (born 1938)
Rooke is a British artist and studio potter. He has exhibited his "Brutalist" ceramics and paintings both in the UK and abroad with work in many collections both public and private including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, Nuffield Foundation, Röhsska Museum in Sweden and the Trondheim Kunstmuseum in Norway.
This is a fantastic example of his early brutalist work.
In very good condition with no signs of damage.
Makers Mark on the base.
