We suspect this pair has been converted from a vanity unit. The back has been replaced with a newer sheet of wood and internally are shelves that are definitely a newer replacement. These shelves are removable and could be replaced. We have priced the set accordingly due to he modifications. We feel that they are still very beautiful.
