Amazing matching pair of gilt bronze sconces in the shape of knotted ribbons holding three candle arms.

These amazing set were produced in the 19th-century in France. Both remarkable pieces are ending in tassels, draped over buttons decorated with floral rosettes.

These neoclassical elements, typical of the Louis XVI style, refer to Greek and Roman culture for inspiration. The bronze casting is of excellent quality.

Wired for use with electric lights they have an E14 bulb socket.
