A magnificent Art Deco alabaster pendant ceiling light fixture with black veins.
French, circa the 1930s.
This is masterfully carved, layered, and beautifully veined alabaster, with beautiful moulded brass floral fittings.
Suspended by four decorative twisted gold ropes (wires) and a richly, with leaf bronze ceiling rose. The light shining through the stone offers a warm glow which highlights the natural patterns, very atmospheric and it emanates a beautiful ambiance both when lit and unlit.
Hidden in the bowl are 4 bulb holders, to create a warm glow.
