Mid century Dressing table with a large zoomorphic statue. Skillfully designed and cast in bronze.
The piece was originally obtained from TEFAF in Maastricht according to the previous owner.
The shape of the piece feels very art deco in style, but this is likely 1960's.
We haven't been able to find anything like this at all, but have found a much smaller bronze in the same style for a substantial amount.
The piece depicts a mythological sea or lake creature.
The mirror os set up to attach directly to a wall, but can also be mounted to the back of the console.
The thick heavy glass table top sits freely on two arms. The glass has one small chip on the edge, this doesn't detract, but can also be replaced at a cost if required.
