This striking turquoise ceramic bowl has a very delicate hand-woven rope-like appearance.
This is a very large piece, with no chips our defects. It is stamped with "Jérôme Messier" on the base.
Circa 1960's
Clément, Jérôme & Delphin were three brothers from a family of potters in Vallauris, southern France. All three worked in the family business of Jérôme Massier et Cie (Jérôme was their father's name) in Vallauris, but later worked independently.
There are some repairs to this piece on the underside. It’s very hard to spot, but this has been prices accordingly.
